23rd of February marked the first virtual meeting of the Quality Education Hub. We had the pleasure of having Fatimata Cham in the room, who is a submitter of the Teens Dream Contest. She shared with us her experience concerning her work with US Department of Aid in order to help get refugee girls access to education.
She is passionate about gender equality and is the president of the Girl Up club at the her school in New York. We discussed the problems girls face in their educational systems and about possible ways of reducing the inequalities that are present in our world.
Fatimata will definitely return to our future meetings to talk about her experience with leading an educational club in her school, and she has already reached 10 points for her first meeting attendance.
We are waiting for you to take part of our amazing community, making even the smallest change by participating in a dialogue about educational issues! We also remind you that you can get the a certificate of participation if you reach 100 points and the title of Global Co Lab Innovator if you reach 150 points.
