2023 Teens Dream - Biophotovoltaic panels for clean energy (Algae-powered solar cells)

My dream is big and realistically impossible – to make a mark of change in society, the environment and in global economy – an impact that will last for generations – that’s my dream. My dream is to touch on every sector and integrate every possible SDG goal to create a Sustainable Utopia where humanity thrives, and our race is protected from possible climate catastrophes and any existential threat. My dream is to relate my future projects to the following SDG goals; SDG goal 7: provide affordable and clean energy, SDG goal 13: climate actions, SDG goal 11: creating sustainable cities and communities, SDG goal 2: mitigating hunger until its zero and lastly SDG goal 1: no poverty! It has always been my mission to help people – to provide a lifetime help for every child and adult. However, my dream TODAY is to address the urgent need for a diversified energy generating solution that will allow for a sustainable, affordable and clean energy. My project – Biophotovoltaic panels for clean energy is a manifestation of my dream TODAY and step towards achieving my dream of TOMORROW. The aim of my project is to create an alternative solar cell that will utilise algae to derive energy from the sun to produce electricity while capturing CO2 from the atmosphere.
