In a world where advancements in medical science continue to break new ground, it often seems that we have a medication for almost everything.
“It’s a well-documented fact that adverse prescription drug effects and other medical errors are the third leading cause of death in America. Adverse drug events harm 2.7 million hospitalized patients in the U.S. yearly, with over 106,000 deaths.”

On that note, I would like you to visualize that I am a 50 year old male, taking regular prescription medication to control high blood pressure, with that I like taking over the counter vitamins and herbal supplements. Sometimes consuming these medications along with supplements, could have an unintended drug interaction like side effects and overdose, putting peoples’ life at risk.

So here I introduce An AI-powered APP called Inter-Med designed to empower you in managing your medications effectively, and minimizing potential side effects. The APP will integrate data, find potential drug interactions and alert the user. Key features of this APP is Medication Scheduling; Interaction Alerts with personalized reminders and side effect notification.

This AI app is a small step towards preventing drug overdose. My Dream is to solve problems related to unintentional injuries and drug overdose.
