Teen's Dream

As a child, I always dreamed of a world where the oceans were pristine, teeming with life, and free from pollution. However, billions of pounds of garbage enter the ocean annually. This garbage either washes up on coastlines or gets pulled into vortexes throughout the ocean, like the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Sea creatures mistake this trash for food, leading to choking, starvation, or strangulation in nets. UN SDG 14 – Life Below Water highlights the urgent need to address this severe problem. To truly solve this global crisis and save our oceans, I developed Sir Eatalot, an economical, efficient, and reliable machine designed to combat ocean pollution. By collecting trash at the river delta, where 80% of debris come from, Sir Eatalot effectively prevents garbage from entering the ocean. This innovative solution tackles the problem right at the source, ensuring that my dream of clean oceans becomes a reality.
