Our idea is to repurpose recycled tires by coating them with synthetic rubber, an electrically insulating material. These rubber-coated tires would then be used to cover high-voltage power lines in the local MAT (high-voltage transmission) network. This solution helps prevent bird fatalities caused by electrocution in forested areas. The rubber provides electrical insulation, reducing the risk of electrical discharges, while protecting wildlife and improving the safety of the power grid.
