Teen's Dream

In the long-term, our dream is to transform waste into an affordable, high-performance thermal insulator that enhances both quality of life and environmental sustainability.

Our project, “2025 Teens Dream – From Waste to Walls: Sustainable Thermal Insulator,” is related with SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by integrating circular economy principles into the construction sector.

The idea is to reuse ocean-recovered plastics and unused biomass from forest clearing for developing an insulator that reduces energy loss in buildings, lowers CO₂ emissions, and provides a cost-effective alternative to conventional insulation.

Currently we have not been able to implement the idea except by making calculations of profitability, efficiency, etc., but in case of being awarded we could patent it and take it to the world through my father’s company, Certaing, which focuses on engineering.

The UN SDG my dream most relates to
