My dream is to improve the infrastructure of roads in Karachi, which have been damaged due to the poor drainage system and flash flooding caused by the monsoon. To streamline the process and help transportation engineers work faster, I developed a web prototype that allows users to upload images, determine the type of cracks, and calculate the PCI value, enabling faster road repairs. Furthermore, I built an app for citizens to report flooding issues in their communities, and I aim to connect with government to connect more citizens. I aim to put my skills to great use and this is a really serious issue in my city, as even rheumatologists reported in increased joint pain of young men travelling on motorbikes due to increased potholes and a bumpy ride.
