2025 Teens Dream - Reusable Bottles
What’s your dream?
Teens Dream – Reusable Bottles
Every day when I go to school, I see plastic water bottles scattered across the roads, piled up in landfills, and even burned in some areas. It feels suffocating, like I’m surrounded by a problem we’re ignoring. One day, I learned how these bottles impact not just the environment but also the health of people in Kurdistan. In some villages, landfills filled with plastic waste are linked to rising cancer rates, and burning these bottles only makes things worse. I felt a deep sense of guilt—if there’s a way to reduce this damage, why aren’t we taking it? If we can make a difference, why don’t we act? Like we are all humans we have to be responsible for our environment we are teens if we don’t use our ideas right now for future we Will say what if we fixed that time so we aren’t in this bad life right now but the second best time is now so let’s take action so me and my friend (Ahmed) started our project for this problem that akn reduce a great amount of wasting water bottles in crucial way so we wanted to send our voice to our community and world so we are glad that we found this opportunity in this competition and also using our videography editing skills to make this fantastic and unique video to share to our planet by this we can save so many peoples life so here is our project:
My dream is to reduce plastic waste in schools and educational centers by implementing Refill Stations. Every day, millions of plastic water bottles are used and discarded, significantly contributing to environmental pollution. By encouraging students to use reusable water bottles and providing filtered water refill stations, we can tackle this issue. This initiative directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. It’s not just about reducing waste; it’s about fostering a culture of sustainability, lowering expenses for students, and helping companies transition to environmentally friendly products. This project is a win-win-win solution for the environment, students, and future generations.
Together, we can turn this dream into reality by raising awareness, collaborating with organizations and companies, and taking small steps to make a big difference. Let’s work together for a cleaner, greener future.
Thank you
