2026 Teens Dream – Clean Water Where It is Needed Most

I have a dream, to see the time when no one will worry whether the water they drink will make them sick. I grew up witnessing how access to clean water can influence health, academics and daily life, especially in remote communities like the ones in which I grew up where safer options are limited.

It is for this reason that my dream connects to SSG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation. Too many families still depend on risky water sources, not because of negligence but but they do not have any other alternatives. This condition which I equally suffered pushed me to think about solutions that could be operational in areas without reliable electricity and complex infrastructure.

CleanDrop is my idea for addressing this problem. It is a concept for a portable, solar powered water purifier designed to be simple and affordable. My dream is to transform this idea into a real tool that will reduce waterborne diseases and give people the chance to live healthier and more stable lives.

Clean water should be basic, not a privilege. And my dream is to be part of making that a reality.
