2026 Teens Dream – Climate Action

My dream is to see sustainability become part of everyday life — not only in my community, but all around the world. I want to live in a world where those least responsible for climate change – especially children – don’t bear the heaviest burden of its impacts. To me it means taking action to create sustainable solutions that protect the most vulnerable.

My dream connects closely to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal SDGs especially SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 13: Climate Action. SDG 11 focuses on building communities that are clean, safe, and sustainable while SDG 13 calls for urgent action to address climate change. These SDGs show the importance of leaving unsustainability which is a  challenge I have seen firsthand in my own community.

Seeing how pollution and poor environmental practices affect the daily life of people in my community has made sustainability feel very personal to me. It has taught me to look for ways to create change in my own little ways.
