2026 Teens Dream - Husks for Hygiene!

My dream is for women around the world to have the same privilege to sanitary pads and period products. I know how challenging and isolating it can feel to struggle with that on your own, especially with little support. Through repurposing a commercial byproduct of farming, I want to save girls’ education while saving the environment. Hearing all those scary stories about toxic shock and lead in our period products, I knew there had to be something to do better. I hope that I can create sustainable, affordable, period products for women and girls all around the globe–because healthcare should not have barriers.
