2026 Teens Dream - Forest Restoration

My dream is to protect Coal Creek, my community in Bellevue, Washington. In Coal Creek, invasive ivy weakens trees, disrupts native habitats, and increases the risk of forest collapse as development expands. This connects directly to UN SDG 15: Life on Land, which calls for protecting, restoring, and sustainably managing terrestrial ecosystems. My goal is to make conservation practical and local by empowering communities with simple tools and awareness so small, everyday actions can collectively strengthen forests, preserve biodiversity, and ensure these natural spaces remain healthy for future generations.
