2020 Teens Dream - Clean Water

Unsafe water kills more people each year than war and all other forms of violence combined. And less than 1% of the world’s freshwater is actually accessible to us. Without action, the challenges will only increase by 2050, when global demand for freshwater is expected to be one-third greater than it is now. That is why it is necessary to take immediate action to achieve clean water and sanitation, one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. My dream is to have a happy and healthy planet where animals and humans thrive without threats like climate change and other major issues. We can achieve this with the use of a water filter that sits inside household drains and filters and collects chemicals from the water. By providing one more filter for this water, we can prevent the increase of wastewater pollution that harms our environment, and stop the problem at its source.
